I did a week's worth of work experience at this radio station. During the week, I collected stories like crime rates in Bolton by interviewing the police and how the Christmas markets returned to the Bolton shopping centres.

I am currently working for a travel journalism website which reviews holiday destinations in Spain. My role is to research about places before writing the articles.

BBC Sport work shadowing

I attended the Everton vs Bournemouth premier league press conference, where I shadowed a BBC Sport journalist. During the conference, I took some notes and wrote a summary of it can sent it back to my mentor.

Royal Television Society - Runner

March 2022

At this one day event, I worked as a runner for a networking day for journalism students to meet industry professionals. I signed students in, directed them and met top journalists in MediaCityUK.

BCOMS - Programme Attendee

October 2022 - Present Day

BCOMS is a programme based in MediaCityUK which takes journalists from ethnic minorities and backgrounds, and trains them for the world of sports journalism. This programme is held in the BBC sports headquarters, but we get tours to stadiums like Anfield to learn how to fulfill job roles like commentary.

My role was to assist the presenters, floor crew and the attendees with general needs like assistance, maintenance and will be a part of a team which made sure the event ran smoothly throughout.
